Final post

The day before entering biology ,I had different expectations of this class.I understood that there would be a lot of memorization as this course is very textual. I should have realized I had to study quite a bit more than other classes.  If I could change anything that I've done in biology I,d put more effort into reviewing. Past that point all and all I found this class interesting. The most interesting consept I leard was probably one of the most occurring consepts when we where learning about evolution. I understood that animals used natural selection to get where they are today , what never occurred to me was the mutation of genes and without them species wouldn't have many variations to evolve from. Other  reacurring consepts we leard was that animals change when their environment changes. The word has always been changing so evolution must follow.  No one may be able to see it happing in there lifetime but it's an astonishing consept to think of.

Trip to the aquarium

this was one of the first fish to catch my eye when our class went to the aquarium. Its yellow caudal fin is in contrast with his blue body which makes the fin pop out. many fish also have colourful displays and some are just plain. all fish sharing this fishes order have bones. Its phylum is a Chordate sub phyla is a vertebrate and its class is Osteichthyes

Arthropods

All arthropods share the same body characteristics. All have though exoskeletons a ,segmented body and many joint appendages. This picture of a coconut crab interests me as it is not like a normal crab. It  may resemble one that you'd find on a local beach except its 10x the size and ditched the sand to rummage through the garbage.
